Gold Frame

Objects aren’t always loud.
Some stay quiet, but slowly become part of a person’s everyday life.

This pair was selected for that reason.
A thin gold frame with a slightly worn tone.
Lightweight, understated, and easy to live with.

Not designed to dominate an outfit,
but to quietly change the atmosphere around it.
Lately, I’ve been more drawn to objects like this.

Things that don’t try too hard to stand out,
yet still leave a presence behind.
Maybe that’s what good objects are.

Not something you notice immediately,
but something you keep reaching for without thinking.

最近は、 強く主張する物よりも、 静かに馴染んでいく物に惹かれる。
このゴールドフレームも、 そんな空気を持っていた一本。
細く繊細なライン。 少し使い込まれたような金色。 軽さがあって、 日常に自然と溶け込む存在感。
目立つためではなく、 空気を少し変えるための物。
最近、 JANではこういう「静かな存在感」を 大切にしている。
最初に強く惹きつける物より、 気づけば何度も手に取っている物。
そういう物のほうが、 長く残る気がしている。
